Audio CD Creation Residency

Students work with Mr. Driscoll to create an Audio CD of their own stories, sound effects
and music. Students and teachers are guided through the creative writing process creating a story and corresponding script. Participants are coached in vocal storytelling techniques using musical interpretation concepts. Sean brings his Pro-Tools digital studio to the
school and records the kids. Participants also learn about the science of sound, computer editing and CD construction. The final product will be a digitally mastered Audio CD with full color cover artwork. Music and sound effects created by the children are also mixed with the student's stories.
