Mr. Driscoll offers two types of shows, Interactive Animated Performances for theaters, schools and indoor venues and Magical Musical Storytelling Adventures for indoor or outdoor venues such as festivals, libraries and schools. Please select the type appropriate to your venue.
Interactive Animated Performances
Sean combines awesome animation, puppetry, comedy-theater, magic and music into incredibly unusual children's shows. The sets include a giant video projection system that brings the animation alive. Sean and the audience interact with the animation as stories unfold. With a wonderful array of magic tricks and musical intruments the audience is drawn away from the animation into live interactive comedy theater.
Magical Musical Performances
Take traditional storytelling, add a dash of magic and tons of music and you get a Magical Musical Storytelling Adventure! Listeners interact by singing songs, helping with magic tricks and playing instruments to accompany stories. Audience members play exotic instruments such as rainsticks, thunder tubes, bird tweeters, insect rattles, frog croakers, whalephones (imitates the sounds of whales) and many others. Sean plays a variety of instruments including the classical guitar, banjo, mandolin, dulcimer, Indian and Irish flute, digeridoo, bodrhan, drums and many other instruments from cultures around the world.
